Last year – yes, last year – I bought some stationery items on Aliexpress with the intention of using some of it for my Fortune Teller Theme of January. This was my very first experience with Aliexpress and I must say, I was a bit disappointed with the slow shipping. I thought it would take a month to get my stamps, washi tape and other goodies. Now, a few months later I finally have everything to show you guys and I can’t wait to share my final verdict. Although Aliexpress sells cheap and cute stationery, is it worth the wait? I will let you know in this stationery haul!
WHOOP WHOOP! Yes, TristArtist is 1 year old! On the 8th of January 2018 I started my own business. I never thought I would because I was scared of the unknown (I still am sometimes), but I am soooo glad that I did it! It had been quite a journey I must say. Figuring out Etsy, customer service, building a website and portfolio, figuring out how taxes work and how you write offers and invoices. As a perfectionist I always wanted to know what to do beforehand, but now I learn as I go. And to celebrate this all with you I wanted to host a giveaway!
When I saw these clear stamps from Action on a Facebook group, I almost ran to the store to get them. I love making spreads and as you might know I take my time, with making them, but it can be nice to speed things up a little by using stamps. In this video I show you how I use these clear stamps in a weekly spread. I hope you like it!
Studio liefhebberen send me a few (bullet journal) stamps to test out. I thought it was a good idea to share a demo with you using the stamps for the first time. My favorites are the little flower, the cute shopping cart and the box with the days of the week. Are you interested to see how I used these stamps in my journal? Hit the play button!
